Mark 16:15-18

When we offer ourselves to be used by God, He reveals His power through our lives
The Youth Connection will be holding a “Missions Thanksgiving Service” this afternoon. As the name suggests, the service will focus on sharing about missions and expressing thanksgiving. Last year, three short-term mission teams experienced God’s powerful work in Bandung and Hong Kong, and they will be sharing their testimonies during the service. Brothers and sisters are warmly invited to join in and celebrate God’s work together.
Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. (Mk 16:15)
When we offer ourselves to be used by God, He reveals His power through our lives. Signs and wonders accompany our service, bringing blessings to many. Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He sent His disciples with these words: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” (Mark 16:15-18).
Brothers and sisters, if you desire to experience God, be bold in stepping out of your comfort zone. Engage in missions, short-term mission trips, evangelism, outreach, and share the gospel with others. Pray for people, pray for the sick, and get involved in various ministries. Allow God to manifest His power through our lives. As Paul encouraged Timothy, “In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.” (2 Timothy 2:20-21). May you offer yourself as a precious vessel for God and experience His power as you serve Him and others.
