John 11:25

Those brothers and sisters who have already passed away in Christ will also be resurrected.
When the technology of cryonics first emerged, an American psychologist, James Hiram Bedford (1893-1967), who was suffering from kidney cancer, could not accept the idea of dying. He donated $100,000 to the Cryonics Institute and made a will, requesting that his body be frozen and preserved after death. As a result, he became the first person in the world to be cryonically preserved. According to the original plan, he was meant to be revived in 2017, but he did not wake up, and he remains in a state of “deep sleep” to this day.
“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.” (Jn 11:25)
Dear brothers and sisters, the technology of cryonics aims to revive or resurrect a damaged human body. In other words, it offers the hope of changing one’s fate and achieving immortality, avoiding death. However, the reality is that no one can overcome death, unless they are willing to repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ—who has already risen from the dead—as their Saviour. Jesus declared, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.” (John 11:25).
Those brothers and sisters who have already passed away in Christ will also be resurrected. As Paul wrote: “Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.” (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14).
