Join me in praying this prayer for yourself and for our Kum Yan family.
On the fifth day of Chinese New Year, let me first wish everyone a very blessed Lunar New Year! I hope the past 5 days have been filled with reunions and gatherings with loved ones, near and far, and that relationships have been rekindled with new joy over this festive season.
Gracious God, we come before You seeking renewal in the new year…
Every new start is an opportunity for renewal and realignment. How has our Lord been speaking to you? Is there something in your life that He has been wanting to deal with? Or is there a relationship that needs to be reconciled? May this new start bring fresh courage and power in the Holy Spirit to enable you to walk in freedom. Join me in praying this prayer for yourself and for our Kum Yan family.
Gracious God, we come before You seeking renewal in the new year. Renew our minds, our hearts, and our spirits. As we face both known and unknown challenges of the coming year, grant us strength and godly wisdom. Hem us in behind and before, and lay Your hand upon us. Watch over our coming and going, and be our shade at our right hand. Transform us by the power of your Holy Spirit. Give us courage to leave behind the things that we ought to leave behind, and boldness to step forth into the new things that You have in store for us. May we be steadfast in our faith, knowing that You are our Rock and our Fortress. In Jesus name, amen.
