Prayer.

Lord of life and love, You ushered us into Your kingdom, when we recognized and accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord.

We are sorry that too often we have only treated Jesus like a temporary lifebuoy especially during times of personal crises and stress. We only look to Him at our own convenience when Your presence benefits us.

Forgive us for our self-centered attitude and behavior. Cleanse us from our lack of commitment to live a consistent life of faithful discipleship.

Forgive us when we forget that He is both our Savior and Lord.

Teach us to find the joy and satisfaction of letting Jesus be both our Savior and Master, not just during the season of Lent but everyday of our journey with You.
