Let us pray and ask the Lord to grant us the courage to bring the gospel to them.

As we celebrate and visit family and friends during this festive season, have you thought about setting new goals to deepen your relationships? For example, beyond celebrating the Chinese New Year together, make an effort to meet more often, help a family member whose faith has grown cold to rekindle faith and draw closer to God, invite a friend to attend church gatherings, or share your Christian faith with someone. May God bless your goals.

I would also like to encourage you to consider bringing your family and friends to join the Chinese Alpha Course, organised by the
Mandarin congregation this March. If you desire for your family to know God but aren’t sure where to begin, I encourage you to
seize this opportunity to introduce them to the Christian faith in a relaxed, pressure-free setting, perhaps over a cup of tea. We thank the Lord that last year, a sister from the English congregation accompanied her brother, who speaks Mandarin, to attend the Chinese Alpha Course. Her brother came to faith and will be baptised this coming Easter.

Dear brothers and sisters, goals without timelines are merely dreams. We long for our loved ones to know God, turn to God, and
accept God, but without a concrete plan, this dream can remain just an empty hope. Let us pray and ask the Lord to grant us the courage to bring the gospel to them.
